STL Viewer
Drop an STL, a Bambu 3MF, or an OBJ. Orbit it here. Size in millimeters. Triangle count. Nothing leaves this tab.
Geometry only. Bambu and Prusa project settings do not survive. No slice, no G-code, no STEP/IGES, no mesh repair.
How to view an STL without uploading
- Add an STL, 3MF, or OBJ. The file stays in this tab.
- Drag to orbit. Scroll to zoom. Right-drag to pan. Read width × depth × height in mm.
- Close the tab and the working copy is gone. Nothing was uploaded.
The original stays on disk. Close the tab and the working copy is gone from memory.
Why view a print file in this tab
viewstl.com already proved people want this. Most “online STL viewers” still take a copy of the mesh. A print file is a house, a minifig, a medical model — not a meme. This page reads the file with the File API and draws it here.
STL, 3MF, and OBJ share one engine. Bounding box is in millimeters — the number a slicer would show. Triangle count is the raw mesh, not a repaired one.
Geometry only. Bambu and Prusa project settings do not survive. No slice, no G-code, no STEP/IGES, no mesh repair.
Other doors: STL to 3MF · 3MF to STL · 3D note · image converters.

STL Viewer FAQ
Do you upload my STL?
No. The file is read in this tab. TrashPandaKit never receives the mesh.
Which formats open?
STL (binary or ASCII), 3MF, and OBJ. STEP, IGES, G-code, AMF, and USDZ are rejected on purpose.
Are the measurements in millimeters?
Yes. 3MF units are converted to mm. STL and OBJ have no unit tag — we report the numbers in the file as mm, which is what most print files use.
Will this slice or repair the mesh?
No. Geometry only. We do not write G-code, and we do not fix holes or inverted normals.
Does this work offline?
Yes, after you have opened this tool once. That tool stays cached on this device. Other tools download when you open them.
