How to convert STL to 3MF without uploading
- Add one .stl or a pile. Files stay in this tab.
- Each mesh is read here and written as a geometry-only 3MF.
- Save the 3MF files, or a zip if you dropped more than one.
The original stays on disk. Close the tab and the working copy is gone from memory.
Why an STL still needs a 3MF
Thingiverse dumps and older CAD exports are still STL. Bambu Studio and a lot of newer printers prefer 3MF. This page welds the triangles and writes a spec 3MF in this tab — mesh, not a project.
The 3MF we write has no plate, no filament, no supports, no printer profile. Open it in a slicer and set those there. That is honest, not a missing feature.

Do you upload the STL?
No. Parse and pack run in this tab. TrashPandaKit never receives the file.
Will Bambu Studio open the 3MF?
Yes, as a mesh. There will be no plate settings or filament profile. That is on purpose — we strip project data, we do not invent it.
Can I convert a pile?
Yes. Zip download when more than one is done.
Does this repair a broken STL?
No. Bad triangles stay bad. Export a clean mesh from CAD if the slicer complains.
Does this work offline?
Yes, after you have opened this tool once. That tool stays cached on this device. Other tools download when you open them.
