3MF to STL

This tab No upload Offline

A Bambu or Prusa 3MF is a project, not just a mesh. This page keeps the triangles and drops the rest. Download an STL anyone can open. Nothing is uploaded.

Geometry only. Bambu and Prusa project settings do not survive. No slice, no G-code, no STEP/IGES, no mesh repair.

How to convert 3MF to STL without uploading

  1. Add one .3mf or a pile. Files stay in this tab.
  2. Geometry is pulled out. Bambu and Prusa project files are not copied.
  3. Save the STLs, or a zip if you dropped more than one.

The original stays on disk. Close the tab and the working copy is gone from memory.

Why peel a 3MF back to STL

Bambu Studio writes a 3MF that also holds plates, filament, and thumbnails. Share that and you share the project. A lot of older tools still want a boring .stl.

We open the zip, read the mesh, and write a binary STL. Multiple objects are merged. Units become millimeters. Metadata and G-code in the package are dropped.

Geometry only. Bambu and Prusa project settings do not survive. No slice, no G-code, no STEP/IGES, no mesh repair.

Other doors: STL to 3MF · STL viewer · 3D note · image converters.

3MF to STL FAQ

Do you upload the 3MF?

No. The zip is opened in this tab. TrashPandaKit never receives the project.

Do plate settings survive?

No. Geometry only. Filament, supports, process, and thumbnails are stripped.

What if the 3MF has more than one object?

They are merged into one STL. We say so on the ticket. We do not write one file per plate.

Can you export G-code instead?

No. This kit does not slice.

Does this work offline?

Yes, after you have opened this tool once. That tool stays cached on this device. Other tools download when you open them.
